You will need to endorse the check and then either mail or bring it into the Financial Aid and Scholarship Office. We will then deposit the check and apply the funds to your student account.
The university encourages all students to authorize direct deposit. If you have not already done so, please go to Route Y and select the "Direct Deposit" link under "Work." You may also click on "authorize direct deposit" at the bottom of your tuition billing statement.
We recommend that you mail your non-BYU scholarship check to the Financial Aid and Scholarship Office unless you are in the area and are able to bring it in. If you mail it, please send it to

Beginning Summer 2010 there will be no paper applications available. You can view a copy of the application online at besmart.com, but you will not be able to print that out and submit it.. All applications have to be submited online through besmart.com
If you have forgotten your Net ID or password, contact the Records Office at (801) 422-4470. Parents can only get their child's Net ID or password if the child is still considered a dependent, or if the parent has a written release from the student stating that they can have access to the Net ID and/or password.
Federal Stafford Loans are government-secured loans available to undergraduate and graduate students at very low rates. There is no collateral or credit check required, and payments are delayed until you graduate or cease being enrolled at least half-time based on your institution's definition.
Federal subsidized Stafford Loans are low-interest loans made available to eligible students from lending institutions to assist in paying educational expenses. Students who do not qualify for a full federal subsidized Stafford Loan may receive an unsubsidized loan under the Federal Stafford Loan Program. The government will not pay the interest on an unsubsidized Stafford Loan.
