The application of transfer credit to core credit requirements is handled by the Transfer Evaluation Office (A-166 ASB). Consortium agreements have been reached with several junior and community colleges to facilitate the transfer process for students who have completed certain associate degrees. The Transfer Evaluation Office can be contacted for up-to-date information regarding the status of those agreements with a particular junior or community college.
An Associate of Art or Science Degree from a consortium school fills all BYU general
education requirements except Advanced Writing, Advanced Math or Language, and the
religion hours at BYU.

Language, and the religion hours at BYU.
*Any Associate of Arts or Science Degree from a school that is accepted by BYU
will fulfill the GE requirements listed above. An articulation agreement is not necessary
for this stipulation to apply.
