BS in Construction Management (99–101 hours*)



This is a limited-enrollment program requiring departmental admissions approval. Please see the college advisement center or the School of Technology advisor for information regarding requirements for admission to this major.

Students admitted to the construction management professional program during the April admittance cycle must attend BYU during the summer term following admittance and complete CM 210, 211, and 217 during that summer term. Students unable to do this will need to reapply to the professional program.
  3. Students must complete 300 hours of preapproved construction-related work after acceptance into the professional program and submit a report during the CM 491R class.

      DESCRIPTION: Effective processes of written, oral, and visual technical communication, including collaborative processes. Writing for academic and professional audiences.
      NOTE: Carries GE Advanced Written and Oral Communication credit.

      DESCRIPTION: Developing written and oral communications for professional organizations, including composing and designing employment communications. Incorporates oral presentations.
      NOTE: Fulfills GE Advanced Written and Oral Communication requirement.
