This is a limited-enrollment program requiring a formal application and departmental admissions approval. Please see the college advisement center for information regarding requirements for admission to this major.

This major is designed to prepare students to teach in public schools. In order to graduate with this major, students are required to complete Utah State Office of Education licensing requirements.   1. Complete the following with at least a B grade before applying to the program:

  3. Note 1: Majors must complete all four courses in history at the college level. Advanced placement (AP) U.S. history courses are not equivalent.
