- Before being accepted into the minor, a student must complete the following with a grade of B– or better:
DANCE 284 : Ballroom, International Technique 1.

- The Dance Department requires a minimum of 10 hours to be completed in residency at BYU for this minor program. These hours may also go toward BYU's 30-hour residency requirement for graduation.
- Complete the following core courses:
