Goals

The College of Health and Human Performance seeks to make three significant contributions: (1) serve students and faculty, (2) extend university programs to the public, and (3) prepare professional leaders. The college sponsors an extensive health education program, a variety of physical education activity courses, youth and recreational services, numerous intramural and extramural activities, supervised free play, and several activity clubs. High-quality intercollegiate athletic teams and dance performance groups are correlated with other programs of the college. Those majoring in one of the areas within the college find strong professional programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Health and Human Performance Services

Free play, intramurals, and scheduling of events and facilities are all coordinated by the Division of Health and Human Performance Services. Students, faculty members, and staff may use the physical education facilities during the evening and on Saturdays. The college encourages participation in these fun, wholesome activities, which give both diversion and development.
