This page contains the following parts:

• TITLE: The title identifies which page is being visited. Below the wooden bar of the title there are three yellow icons. Clicking "Help" will bring you to this page. Clicking "Major MAPs" will take you to the list of Major Academic Plans offered by the department. Here, you can view the GE requirements, major requirements, suggested sequence of courses, and discipline and career information for each major in the department. Clicking "Class Schedule" will take you to the BYU Class Schedule page, where you can browse the course availibility listings for the coming semesters and see what classes will be taught at BYU.

• CLASS SCHEDULE: Located above each listing of courses offered are four flower icons. Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer each have an icon. They are linked to the appropiate class schedule. DO NOT BE ALARMED IF SOME ARE LINKED TO, "NOT FOUND" PAGES. Not all classes are offered during all four semesters. In addition, sometimes the class schedule for upcoming semesters has not been updated on the web. If in doubt, click , go to the appropiate semester, and select the class schedule of the correct class. Please report any errors.

• LINKS: At the top of every department page, there is a link to the departments actual home page.

• BACK LINKS: There are back links at the bottom of every page. The Undergraduate Catalog logo always takes you back to the first page in the catalog. The BYU logo returns you to the BYU homepage. Many other pages in the catalog, like this help page, also have a link labeled "Back" that will take you back to the last page visited.
