Thank you for visiting the BYU Graduate Catalog online. This web site has been designed to make the catalog more accessible.

The Table of Contents contains the following parts:

• TITLE: The title identifies this page as the home page of the BYU Graduate catalog for this academic year.

• THE HEADER: At the top of the Index page, beneath the wooden bar and above the help icon, there is a header, listing topics in the catalog separated by the | symbol. If you click on one of the topics in the header, your web browser will scroll down the table of contents to where this topic is listed. From there, you may click the flower box next to that topic to read more about that subject.

  The Table of Contents file must be fully loaded for the header to work properly. If a topic is clicked on before the corresponding part is loaded, nothing will happen. Just wait until the file is completely loaded, and then select the topic again.

  The title identifies which page is being visited. Below the wooden bar of the title there are several yellow icons. Clicking "Graduate Studies Homepage" will take you there. Clicking "Class Schedule" will take you to the BYU Class Schedule page, where you can browse the course availibility listings for the coming semesters and see what classes will be taught at BYU. Clicking "Index" will take you to the catalog Index. Clicking "BYU" takes you to the BYU homepage.

• TABLE OF CONTENTS: The body of the Table of Contents is divided into several sections, separated by wooden bars. The title of each section is printed in white on the blue bar to the left of that section, and each section is associated with its own distinct image. The topics within a section are listed in order and all have the same image in a box to the left of the topic title. Click on the image to go to that topic's page.

  The first secion is the most commonly used.

• BACK LINKS: There are back links at the bottom of every page. The Graduate Catalog logo always takes you back to the first page in the catalog. The BYU logo returns you to the BYU homepage. Many other pages in the catalog, like this help page, also have a link labeled "Back" that will take you back to the last page visited.
