BYU Scholarship Application Deadlines
Apart from applying for federal financial aid and completing the FAFSA, BYU offers scholarships. Scholarships are funded through tithing and generous donors. In order to be considered for scholarships, students must complete a scholarship application on or before the appropriate deadline. We encourage all students to complete the entire scholarship application. This allows students to be considered for all scholarships for which they may qualify. The information students submit on the scholarship application is also forwarded to their major college. The FAFSA is required if students want to be considered for need-based and most private scholarships. The FAFSA will be available in January 2013 for the 2013-14 academic year.
Scholarship Deadlines
You must apply for scholarships on or before posted deadlines, even if you have not yet been admitted to the university. Your application for scholarships will be processed once you are admitted. Only those applications submitted by the deadline will be considered.
Departments and colleges may have different deadlines for their scholarships. See BYU Departmental Scholarships for more information.
