Students who have not been admitted to a degree seeking program as regular day-continuing BYU students are not eligible for Federal Financial Aid or scholarships. However, you may be eligible for Federal Financial Aid if you meet all of the following:
- You have been admitted to a degree-seeking program as a regular day-continuing BYU student,
- You enroll in Evening Classes prior to your degree-seeking admission term, but during the same academic year, and
- You apply for aid (see steps 1–7) and are determined to be eligible.
For example, if you are admitted to BYU as a regular day-continuing student for Winter Semester 2012, and enroll in Evening Classes during Fall Semester 2011, you may apply for federal financial aid.
