MyMAP: Plan On It! What Is MyMAP?

Welcome to MyMAP

This site explains the features of MyMAP. Click here to begin using MyMAP.

Welcome to MyMAP, BYU's student planning system. MyMAP combines the most useful features of the progress report with course descriptions from the catalog, scheduling information from the most recent class schedules, sequencing recommendations from the Major Academic Plans (MAPs), and registration - all of the tools necessary to create a comprehensive academic plan leading to graduation.

On this website you will find:

Please Note: Our initial implementation of MyMAP is designed specifically for undergraduate students. Those in Graduate, Integrated, or BGS programs will not see the Plan or Organize tabs. We expect to deliver these services shortly after our undergraduate implementation. The Welcome, Student Summary, and Registration tabs are fully functional for all students.

Current MyMAP Issues and Solutions (click on issue for more information)

Progress Report Won't Display:

Issue: We have several students who can't display the progress report (found on the Plan MyMAP tab). It appears that this is a problem associated with Internet Explorer. Please email us at mymapfeedback@byu.edu and let us know which browser and, if possible, the version of Adobe Acrobat Reader you are using.

Solution: We recommend you try updating your version of Adobe Reader. Also, Firefox, Safari, and earlier versions of Internet Explorer appear to display the progress report correctly.

All GE requirements are not listed in the Plan tab of MyMAP:

Issue: There are some student populations that can fulfill GE or University requirements in addition to what can be planned in MyMAP.

Solution: Please refer to the class schedule or contact your advisement center to explore other potential options.

Cannot Move Courses in the MyMAP Plan Tab:

Issue: Students will not be able to move/select other classes in a requirement or sub-requirement where there is also a withdraw or audit class.

Solution: This is a known issue and is being worked on. Please be patient as we work to have this solved shortly.
