Academic Scheduling

Source Document and Proof Timeline

Policy

Before a new class schedule is produced, information must be gathered from each department.

The class schedule must be accurate and available before registration. The production timeline below helps departments, Academic Scheduling, Evening Classes, and Salt Lake Center coordinate the preparation of the class schedule.

Procedure

Academic Scheduling sends each department semester/term source documents. These source documents are divided according to day, evening, and Salt Lake Center classes. A source document reflects the previous year's schedule. The class information is returned to Academic Scheduling, Evening Classes, or Salt Lake Center. Source documents are found on the class scheduling website along with detailed instructions and a course list.
