An Academic Standards hold can be placed because of academic performance. A student with an Academic Standards hold must contact the Academic Support Office for further information. |
| CAC | College Advisement Center | Your Advisement Center | The CAC hold targets students with special needs who will be required to seek assistance from their college advisement center before registering. Students with a CAC hold must visit their college advisement center or department advisor to complete a plan for graduation and will be prevented from registering until the hold is cleared by the college advisement center. |
| CEE | Ecclesiastical Endorsement | Honor Code Office 4440 WSC (801) 422-2847 |
A CEE hold is placed on a student’s record if an ecclesiastical endorsement has not been turned in by the March 15 deadline or if the endorsement has been withdrawn. |
| FIN | Financial Hold | Student Services D-155 ASB (801) 422-4104 |
A financial hold is placed on a student’s record if past due financial charges exist on the student’s account or if a loan is overdue. These collections are turned over to the Collections Office. |

A student with questions concerning a graduate studies hold should contact the Graduate Studies Office. |

A standards hold may be placed on a student’s record if the student is in violation of the Honor Code. |
| TB | Tuberculosis Test | Health Center Immunizations Office 1200 SHC (801) 422-5156 |
The TB hold is placed on students who have resided outside the United States and are required to submit results of a TB test to the Health Center. |

Tuition is due one week before the beginning of class. If tuition is not paid, a hold is placed on the student’s record. Students may drop classes but no classes may be added until the tuition is paid. |
