Priority is based on class standing, which is determined by number of credit hours completed through the most recent major semester. Priority begins with graduate students followed by seniors, juniors, sophomores, continuing freshmen, non-degree-seeking graduate students, and newly admitted freshmen.

Prior to fall and winter semester registration, an email is sent to all students informing them where to find their assigned registration date and time.

*A credit hour is the university’s way of measuring work toward a degree. As a general rule, the number of credit hours of a class indicate the number of hours a week of classroom time, for example, Writing 150 is three credit hours; most classes would meet one hour, three times a week. To graduate a student must complete at least 120 credit hours of course work.
New Freshman Registration
New incoming freshmen for Fall 2013 will be randomly assigned a date for registration between June 10-14, 2013. Check the registration semester or term on the MyMAP Register tab in March for the exact date you have been assigned.
Spring/Summer Registration
Spring and summer registration begins every year on February 1st for all students. No email notice is sent for spring/summer registration.
