Class Standing
At the beginning of each semester, undergraduate students are classified for that semester based on earned credits as follows:
| Credit Hours Earned | Class Standing |
|---|---|
| 0-29.9 | Freshman |
| 30-59.9 | Sophomore |
| 60-89.9 | Junior |
| 90 and over | Senior |
Earned Credits = all credits which the student has earned (A, B, C, D, P).
Graded Credits = all classes for which grades are assigned (A, B, C, D, E, I, IE, UW, WE).
This class standing influences when a student can register according to the priority registration schedule.
