Many charges are involved in attending BYU, but tuition is one of the primary costs.
As BYU’s sponsor, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints subsidizes tuition prices with its members’ tithing funds. In principle, each student attending BYU is on scholarship.
For the 2012-2013 academic year, BYU’s undergraduate tuition for LDS students is $4,710 ($9,420 for non-LDS students), regardless of where they are from.
Considering that College Board reports the average private four-year tuition and fees as over $27,000, BYU’s price tag cannot be beat. Each year, undergraduate students at BYU pay nearly $23,000 less in tuition than other private universities.

Payment deadlines, like any other deadlines, are extremely important. Late tuition payments result in registration holds and deletion of classes.
